Service Description

All classes are structured for mixed levels of experience. Whether you are curious about ceramics, experienced or haven't touched clay in a long time, our instructors are here to help you reach your potential. Each class is 2.5 hours per class and includes one bag of clay, glazes, firings, and access to countless tools and equipment. Ages 16+with own transportation without an adult or 16+ with an adult. Only work made during class and during open studio as part of the class fee. For additional work made at home, you may utilize the Firing Service with a 10% discount for current students. Ask you instructor for the current code. If a class date is on a holiday or scheduled day off of class you will receive 2.5 hours of additional open studio. Open studio time is offered in the mornings, between classes, and on the weekends, students are able to use open studio time to make up a missed class, practice, trim, or glaze, that way they can spend more time with the instructor fine tuning techniques while in class. To have a successful session, please: • Bring your own hand tools or you may purchase separately on our website. • Bring an apron or towel • Wear comfy clothing • Tie up your long hair and trim your nails Due to the nature of our classes and to reduce the amount of confusion, Third Coast Clay does not substitute or provide make-up classes. Please check your calendar before scheduling and set a reminder for your class selection.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Third Coast Clay holds limited seating, and many of our sessions/events sell out. For this reason, we request that you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled session/event. This will allow us to offer your spot to another student. Please email us at the3rdcoastclay@yahoo.com. Please note, we do not offer refunds. However, if you give us at least 14 day notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment toward another session/event. However, if you do not cancel with at least 14 day notice, you will lose any payments you have already made. 7 Week Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment: Classes are booked based on enrollment minimums. If the 7 week class has less than 4 students the class will be closed for that session and the clients and teacher notified by the Saturday before class was scheduled to start. Touch n Go and Themed Workshop Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment: Classes are booked based on enrollment minimums. If the Touch n Go or Themed Workshop class has less than 3 students the class will be closed for that session and the clients and teacher notified 48 hours before class was scheduled to start.
