Service Description

Let's Make Earrings with Carol! Join San Marcos clay artist for two days of earring making magic. Saturday: Carol will demonstrate making her 1- and 2-part bisque molds and custom kiln furniture (everything she uses for porcelain earring production). All participants will make their own custom furniture. Participants can also create their own molds if they like. These molds and custom kiln furniture will be fired and available for pick up after the workshop. Sunday: Carol will show colored porcelain mixing, surface enhancing techniques and clay jewelry making, assembling, and finishing. Participants will then create their own ceramic jewelry using Carol's molds. These pieces will be fired and available for pick up after the workshop. At the end of the workshop, all students will have: their own furniture so they can start making their own clay jewelry, their own bisque mold of a simple form they want to replicate, and a few "practice pieces" made using Carol's molds. All materials provided. Basic previous ceramics skills recommended. ***Third Coast Clay Monthly Members receive a 15% discount and current students receive 10%.***

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Third Coast Clay holds limited seating, and many of our sessions/events sell out. For this reason, we request that you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled session/event. This will allow us to offer your spot to another student. Please email us at the3rdcoastclay@yahoo.com. Please note, we do not offer refunds. However, if you give us at least 14 day notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment toward another session/event. However, if you do not cancel with at least 14 day notice, you will lose any payments you have already made. 7 Week Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment: Classes are booked based on enrollment minimums. If the 7 week class has less than 4 students the class will be closed for that session and the clients and teacher notified by the Saturday before class was scheduled to start. Touch n Go and Themed Workshop Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment: Classes are booked based on enrollment minimums. If the Touch n Go or Themed Workshop class has less than 3 students the class will be closed for that session and the clients and teacher notified 48 hours before class was scheduled to start.
